African black soap is a traditional soap that originates from Western Africa, and has been used for centuries. Known for its natural cleansing properties, African Black Soap is made of raw shea butter and coconut oil, rich in minerals and antioxidants. Traditionally made from local ingredients, african black soap is popular for its gentle, cleansing abilities.

I am proud to say that the African black  soap base I use is one of the most chemical free and natural soap. It contains no SLS, SLES, MPG, Parabens or Sulfates! This soap base harnesses the moisturising power of vegetable glycerine, olive oil, shea butter and coconut oil.

Then I have added Oat Oil which is a natural skin emollient. It has high content of antioxidants, essential fatty acids and phospholipids.  Also oat oil has vitamin E and lipids which helps to soften the skin, hydrates and protects skin. Anti-inflammatory and calming – soothes itchiness and eczema, plus helping calm the animal while it heals.

• Healing – high levels of minerals and vitamins in the seeds may help with skin healing.

Manuka honey can provide itch relief while you sort out the cause of your dog’s allergies. Manuka honey is great at controlling inflammation and this can help soothe the itching. Calm irritated areas, and regulate pH levels of dog skin too.

Royal Jelly is considered to be anti-inflammatory making it a great ingredient to help soothe and heal irritated skin for your Furbaby.

Also promotes a healthy coat and stimulating new hair growth, strengthening hair and reducing shedding.

Palmarosa is a powerful antiseptic essential oil, the top benefits are to the skin and healing. Palmarosa contains over 70% geraniol which promotes healthy cell growth and repairs damaged DNA.  Palmarosa is useful in dermatitis and wound healing.

Calendula Powder can help dogs with pink, sensitive skin as calendula’s ability to quickly soothe flea bites, sunburn, or vexing “hot spots.”
